Kathleen M Klein

Kathleen M. Klein is an associate in the Chicago office of Clausen Miller P.C. Her practice includes professional liability litigation; broker, dealer, and investment advisor malpractice; medical malpractice; premises liability; and products liability. Ms. Klein joined Clausen Miller after working as a summer intern in 2010.

Ms. Klein graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law with a certificate in Trial Advocacy. During law school, Ms. Klein served as Illinois Symposium Executive Editor for the Loyola Law Journal.  She also externed for the Honorable Judge Ronald A. Guzman of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. As a senior law student, Ms. Klein interned with the Cook County Public Defender, where she represented defendants in court and successfully litigated a felony jury trial.

Additionally, Ms. Klein was one of ten students selected for the Philip H. Corboy Fellowship in Trial Advocacy. Through the Fellowship, Ms. Klein competed in four national trial competitions, won a Regional Championship at the American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy Competition, and received over 400 hours of training in trial advocacy from prominent Chicago litigators and judges.

Kathleen earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science at the University of Notre Dame.
