Daniel R. Bryer is an associate in the Chicago office of Clausen Miller P.C. Mr. Bryer is a member of the firm's Appellate Practice Group, specializing in post-trial and appellate litigation nationwide. Mr. Bryer has litigated appeals in state and federal courts throughout the country, and has never lost an appeal on which he has been the attorney of primary responsibility.

Mr. Bryer's post-trial and appellate work spans a variety of practice areas, including business/commercial litigation, first-party property, insurance coverage, products liability, and professional liability. Additionally, Mr. Bryer is regularly called upon to aggressively litigate pretrial issues by filing interlocutory appeals, mandamus petitions, and requests for supervisory review from trial court rulings. Mr. Bryer also acts as monitoring appellate counsel in high-exposure cases, working with trial attorneys to develop pretrial motions, motions in limine, motions for directed verdict and jury instructions that raise and preserve significant issues for appeal.

Mr. Bryer received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 2005. Mr. Bryer was a 2007 Summer Intern with Clausen Miller and joined the firm in 2008 after obtaining his law degree from The John Marshall Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude.

At John Marshall, Mr. Bryer served as a Staff Editor on The John Marshall Law Review. He also served as a judicial extern to Justice Thomas R. Fitzgerald of the Illinois Supreme Court, and externed with Judge John W. Darrah of the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division.
