Michael J. McSherry
Associate
Michael J. McSherry is an associate in the Chicago office of Clausen Miller P.C. He concentrates his practice in the areas of professional and products liability, employment law, construction litigation and various commercial matters.
Mr. McSherry received his Bachelor of Arts in history and political science from Indiana University in 2007. He was a 2009 summer associate at Clausen Miller P.C. and joined the firm after obtaining his Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he earned Dean’s List honors each year and a certificate in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
During law school, Mr. McSherry completed externships with the Honorable Morton Denlow of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Honorable Ronald Davis of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Law Division. He also gained valuable experience clerking at two prominent litigation firms in Chicago. One former employer currently serves as a Justice on the Illinois Appellate Court. In his final year of law school, Mr. McSherry was certified as a mediator with the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago.
Outside of work, Mr. McSherry is active with several professional and charitable organizations throughout the Chicago area.
