Michael T. Loffredo

Michael T. Loffredo is a partner with Clausen Miller P.C. and heads the Medical Malpractice/Health Care group in the New York Office. Mr. Loffredo routinely defends physicians, physicians' practices, and hospitals in medical malpractice and health law matters. He also handles transactional and regulatory matters for physicians.

Mr. Loffredo has been representing medical professionals, pharmaceutical companies and corporate clients for more than ten years.   After prosecuting child abuse and neglect cases for New York City's Corporation Counsel, Mr. Loffredo joined a well-known litigation firm as an associate.  There he represented pharmaceutical companies, corporate clients and medical professionals in areas such as products liability, medical malpractice and contract disputes. 

Since joining Clausen Miller in 2003, Mr. Loffredo has successfully tried complex medical malpractice cases, deposed party and expert witnesses and argued dispositive motions resulting in numerous dismissals for his clients. Mr. Loffredo also has assisted physicians with credentialing and compliance with regulatory requirements. 

Mr. Loffredo received his undergraduate degree from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and his law degree from New York Law School. He is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, the Southern District of New York, and the Eastern District of New York.
