Timothy R. Herman

Associate

Timothy R. Herman is an Associate with Clausen Miller P.C. and is a member of the firm's Business Practice group. His practice focuses on all aspects of business litigation, including complex litigation, professional liability defense, and security based lawsuits.

Mr. Herman graduated cum laude from Kalamazoo College in 2006 where he majored in Economics/Business and minored in Political Science. He was a 2009 Summer Associate at Clausen Miller and joined the firm after graduating as the valedictorian of his law class at The John Marshall Law School in 2010.

While attending law school, he was the Student Publications Editor of The John Marshall Law Review. He also externed for Judge Alexander P. White of the Circuit Court of Cook County and worked at a small law firm that focused on corporate and financial transactions and commercial litigation.

During law school, Mr. Herman served as Research Assistant for Ralph Ruebner, Associate Dean of The John Marshall Law School, and assisted Dean Ruebner in his capacity as reporter for the Illinois Supreme Court Special Committee on Illinois Evidence. He also provided research support for Dean Ruebner in the publication 2010 Illinois Decisions on Search and Seizure: Recent Developments on Search and Seizure in Illinois, published by the Illinois State Bar Association.
