Lindsay Dates
Associate
Ms. Dates is an associate at Clausen Miller's Chicago office. Her litigation work at Clausen Miller includes premises liability, products liability, medical malpractice, and additional various areas in casualty and insurance litigation.
Ms. Dates received her juris doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she served as the Public Interest Law Reporter's Symposium Co-Editor for two years. As co-editor, Ms. Dates was instrumental in the planning and preparation of two continuing legal education symposia entitled: "Separate and Unequal? The Socioeconomic Realities of Public Education in America" and "Delinquency or Illness? The Intersection of Mental Health and Juvenile Justice." While at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Ms. Dates was also a founding member of the school's Alternative Dispute Resolution society.
Ms. Dates began her career with Clausen Miller as a summer intern and continued with the firm as a researcher during her final year of law school. Prior to joining Clausen Miller, Ms. Dates was a judicial extern for the Honorable Virginia M. Kendall in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Ms. Dates also served as a Research Assistant for Richard A. Michael, Professor Emeritus and Senior Lecturer at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, in preparation for the second edition of his book Civil Procedure Before Trial. Ms. Dates was also a Research Assistant to Henry Rose, Associate Professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
Originally from the metro-Detroit area, Ms. Dates received her Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, from The University of Michigan in both History and Sociology where she also worked as a research assistant in the University of Michigan Institute for Social Research.
