Christopher M. Kahler

Associate

Christopher M. Kahler is an associate in Clausen Miller’s Chicago office.  His litigation practice includes products liability, construction litigation, professional malpractice, personal injury, premises liability, Title VII discrimination, and NASD arbitration defense.

Mr. Kahler graduated magna cum laude from The John Marshall Law School in 2006.  While attending John Marshall, he was an active participate in several honors programs.  He was a member of the 2005-06 Law Review editorial board.  Mr. Kahler also was a member of the 2004 Wagner Labor and Employment Moot Court Competition, earning a brief award and quarterfinalist position.  In 2006, he traveled to Vienna, Austria to represent John Marshall in the Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot.  Mr. Kahler served as an extern to the Honorable Charles P. Kocoras of the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois.

Mr. Kahler has extensive work experience in the construction industry.  Prior to attending law school, he was the vice-president of a small construction company.  As vice-president, he had working relationships with general contractors, engineers, architects, and municipalities.  The company participated as a sub-contractor on major Chicago construction projects.
