Tyler Jay Lory has been a partner with Clausen Miller P.C. since 1989. Mr. Lory splits his practice between coverage work and defense work in general liability, professional liability (healthcare professionals and institutions, lawyers, accountants, and architects and engineers), product liability, environmental liability, director and officer liability, and errors and omissions work for a variety of professionals, including real estate agents, property managers, title agents, insurance agents and securities dealers.

A 1981 graduate of the Boston College School of Law, Mr. Lory is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is also admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Mr. Lory is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the New York State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. He is also a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, the Professional Liability Underwriting Society, the Defense Research Institute, the Council on Litigation Management and the Litigation Counsel of America, Trial Lawyer Honorary Society.
Mr. Lory has an "AV" rating (Preeminent) with Martindale-Hubbell indicating the highest ranking in legal ability and ethical standards as determined by his peers in the legal community. He has also been honored as a 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 New York Super Lawyer.
