Joseph W. Szalyga

Joseph W. Szalyga is an associate in the New York office of Clausen Miller, P.C.  Mr. Szalyga’s practice areas include subrogation and liability insurance coverage.  

Since his admission, Mr. Szalyga has prosecuted hundreds of subrogation actions arising from fires, floods, building collapses and construction accidents.  He has tried several cases to verdict.  Additionally, Mr. Szalyga litigates liability insurance coverage disputes and provides counsel to insurance carriers regarding the breadth and applicability of coverage for policyholders as well as other interested parties.

Mr. Szalyga received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Law from Binghamton University in 2000 and his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2003.
