Andrew C. Jacobson, a 1973 graduate of the University of Rochester and a 1976 graduate of the New England Law School, has over twenty-five years of experience in insurance coverage and tort litigation, subrogation and insurance coverage matters. He has also successfully arbitrated numerous cases.
Mr. Jacobson has litigated cases in state and federal courts in various jurisdictions throughout the United States on behalf of major U.S. and overseas insurers and other clients. His litigation experience includes not only major property losses, but also business interruption, environmental claims and other commercial litigation. He has been lead trial counsel on several billion-dollar environmental matters. Mr. Jacobson has been retained as national first-party property insurance coverage counsel for several major insurers on a variety of claims including 9/11, mold, environmental and general property insurance coverage issues, including policy wordings.
Andrew C. Jacobson has been an Adjunct Professor at the College of Insurance and has also taught insurance law at Iona College and Bergen Community College. He is a member of the New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts bars, as well as the federal courts of these states and Connecticut.
