Jerry S. Lettieri

Associate

Jerry S. Lettieri is an associate in the New York office of Clausen Miller P.C. He concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation involving first-party property coverage, addressing issues including policy interpretation, business interruption, coverage liability and excess insurance.  Mr. Lettieri has delivered opinions on a broad range of coverage issues for national and international insurance carriers and has been involved in litigation on the state and federal levels.

Mr. Lettieri began his career as an Assistant District Attorney with the Queens County District Attorney’s Office, where he successfully litigated and investigated high level violent felonies for the Career Criminal Major Crimes Bureau.  Mr. Lettieri was also a liaison with the Police Department’s Evidence Collection and Crime Scene units and Chief Medical Examiner as lead prosecutor on numerous DNA cases. 

Mr. Lettieri graduated from New York University’s Stern School of Business, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in both Finance and Economics.  Mr. Lettieri received his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of that school’s National Moot Court Competition Team and Urban Law Journal.

Mr. Lettieri is admitted to the Supreme Court of the State of New York, and a member of the Bar Association of the City of New York.
