Ruth V. Simon is a partner in the New York and New Jersey offices of Clausen Miller P.C. specializing in litigation. She graduated from Queens College and Temple University School of Law. Ms. Simon is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Ms. Simon has been an Assistant United States Attorney in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office in Philadelphia and a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney's Offices for the Eastern District of New York and the District of New Jersey. She has extensive litigation experience in both state and federal courts and has successfully argued appeals before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits and the New Jersey Appellate Division.
Ms. Simon has litigated a wide variety of cases, including personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, subrogation, insurance coverage, property damage and premises liability cases. She has obtained a multi-million-dollar verdict as a plaintiff's attorney in a medical malpractice action and has successfully defended numerous cases involving multi-million-dollar claims.
