MaryLu Hahn is a litigation attorney with Clausen Miller P.C. who concentrates her practice in the area of first-party property insurance, including all types of cause and origin investigations, environmental issues, business interruption, extra expense, bad faith and punitive damages issues. Prior to joining Clausen Miller P.C., Ms. Hahn was a managing insurance company claims supervisor with extensive experience handling complex property and casualty claims in all U.S. jurisdictions under personal, commercial and surplus/excess line coverages.

Ms. Hahn received her Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University Chicago, and received her Juris Doctor degree from The John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Hahn has been a speaker at professional industry seminars and is the author of several papers including the Duties and Role of the Claims Representative chapter of the Illinois Attorney General Arson Training & Prosecution Manual, The Adjustment Peril: How to Avoid Getting Cleaned Out by a Hazardous Cleanup and Bad Faith Issues in First-Party Loss Adjustments.

Ms. Hahn is admitted to practice in Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Ms. Hahn is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association and is a past president and board member of the Western Loss Association.
