Michael E. Zidek

Michael E. Zidek is a partner with Clausen Miller P.C. who concentrates his practice in general and professional liability defenses.

In 1987, Mr. Zidek was admitted to practice before the bars of the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Creighton Law School, where he served as the National Student Director for the American Bar Association's National Appellate Advocacy Competition, as well as the National Student Director for the American Bar Association's Client Counseling Competition. He subsequently completed a four-year term on the National Appellate Advocacy Competition Subcommittee, which culminated in his serving as the chairman of the subcommittee. Mr. Zidek is also a member of the DuPage County Bar Association.

Mr. Zidek has a strong science background, having received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from John Carroll University in 1983. His technical expertise was further developed prior to entering law school through his employment with an environmental research company in Ohio.

He has made numerous presentations to attorneys, insurance claims analysts, physicians and other health professionals.

Mr. Zidek has litigated and tried cases to verdict in matters involving medical malpractice, premises liability, civil rights, pharmacy liability and professional liability issues. He has an "AV" rating with Martindale-Hubbell indicating the highest ranking in legal ability and ethical standards as determined by his peers in the legal community.
