Ian R. Feldman

Ian R. Feldman is a partner in the Irvine office of Clausen Miller P.C. His practice primarily involves product liability, insurance coverage litigation and professional liability matters with an emphasis on representing attorneys, insurance brokers, real estate brokers and accountants in civil actions and regulatory matters.

Ian joined Clausen Miller in 2006. He was a former partner at a Los Angeles based insurance defense firm where he participated in several trials, including a three week jury trial of an accounting malpractice case and a trial of an insurance broker malpractice case. In both cases, defense verdicts were obtained for his clients. Most recently, Ian obtained a successful result at trial representing a contractor accused of malpractice.  Additionally, Ian has secured several dismissals of lawsuits for a waiver of costs on behalf of several prominent Southern California law firms and insurance agencies against claims of professional malpractice.

Ian graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1993 cum laude and Hofstra University School of Law in 1996 where he was a member of the Law Review. Ian was also a member of the Hofstra Housing Rights Clinic where he successfully defended a client at trial. After graduating law school, Ian worked for a major domestic insurance carrier handling the defense of personal injury and subrogation matters in New York City.

Ian is admitted to practice in California, New York and New Jersey as well as federal courts in those jurisdictions. He is also a member of the Southern California Defense Counsel Association, Los Angles Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association.
