Keith E. Butler

Keith E. Butler is the managing partner of the California office of Clausen Miller PC.  Mr. Butler practices in the area of civil litigation involving first-party property coverage and subrogation matters.  Because of his experience as counsel for the Cook County Office of Capital Planning representing Cook County in the disputes and lawsuits that arise from the construction of jails, hospitals and office buildings, Mr. Butler is particularly well suited for claims involving construction defects and large commercial losses including energy claims.  In addition, Mr. Butler has extensive experience drafting and negotiating retail lease agreements.

Mr. Butler received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He graduated from Emory University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in 1990.

Mr. Butler is licensed to practice in the State of California, the Southern District of California, the Central District of California, the Eastern District of California and the Northern District of California.
