Edward L. Soyka

Edward L. Soyka, originally from New Jersey, is an associate specializing in litigation involving medical malpractice and healthcare issues, premises and construction litigation, business and commercial litigation and products liability.
In the past, Mr. Soyka has represented healthcare professionals and healthcare facilities, including major cancer treatment centers, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation as well as mass tort litigation.
Mr. Soyka has worked with Mr. Neil Ekblom in the New York office's Healthcare Department for the past four years. Mr. Soyka has assisted Mr. Ekblom and the entire Healthcare Department in the successful defense of numerous malpractice suits against physicians and hospitals in the New York metropolitan area.
Mr. Soyka received his B.A. from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law. While attending Syracuse, Mr. Soyka participated in the College's Law & Economics Program and was involved in special presentations before the World Bank in Washington D.C. Currently, Mr. Soyka is a member of the New York State and New York County Bar Associations.
