Monica C. Palermo
Associate
Monica Palermo practices law in various areas of professional liability; defending accountants, attorneys, architects and engineers. Monica also litigates the defense of personal injury, premises and products liability, construction disputes and broker/dealers before the NASD. Monica has practiced law in the areas of medical malpractice defense and commercial litigation, defending health care providers and corporate interests. Monica has experience litigating both Judge and jury trials and arbitrations. With significant experience preparing trial documents and exhibits, Monica has participated in jury selection and formulated examination questions for witnesses.
Monica has researched a variety of issues from employment and constitutional law to property, contract, and tort issues. Monica has drafted and argued summary judgment motions, motions to dismiss and motions to bar. Monica also has significant experience in preparing and taking depositions of plaintiffs, lay witnesses and experts and defending the depositions of her clients and retained experts.
While in college, Monica was a member of the University of Michigan Women’s Rugby Club. Monica currently trains and participates in triathlons.
