Brian J. Riordan

Brian Riordan is a partner at Clausen Miller P.C., having joined the firm in 1996. Mr. Riordan represents both foreign and domestic professional indemnity and general liability carriers and their insureds in the full range of both litigated and non-litigated matters.

He also specializes in the defense of cases involving commercial and professional liability, including the representation of attorneys, insurance and investment advisors and broker/dealers. In addition, Mr. Riordan also litigates the defense of personal injury, premises and products liability matters, construction disputes, and toxic tort matters, in all civilly litigated arenas.

Mr. Riordan also has extensive experience counseling corporate clients on a wide range of matters, as well as defending all types of employment matters before the civil courts, various Human Rights Commissions and the EEOC.

Mr. Riordan was admitted to the Illinois and Federal Bar in 1996. He graduated from Loyola University of Chicago Law School in 1996 with a Juris Doctor degree, where he spent a term at Loyola's Rome Center studying international law and comparative judicial systems. Mr. Riordan graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1993 with a B.A., where he was student body president. Mr. Riordan is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
