Kathleen A. Johnson

Kathleen A. Johnson is a senior associate with Clausen Miller P.C. who practices primarily in the area of liability insurance coverage analysis and defense litigation.
Before entering practice, Ms. Johnson was employed by several major insurance carriers handling complex, multi-state claims including professional liability claims, as well as major coverage cases.
Ms. Johnson graduated from Elmhurst College with a B.A. and received a J.D. from The John Marshall Law School. Since then, Ms. Johnson has tried numerous cases to verdict and has considerable experience in multi-party coverage cases. She is experienced in all phases of pretrial practice, including experience in arbitration, mediation and alternative dispute resolutuion for both casualty defense cases as well as coverage matters. She has an “AV” rating with Martindale-Hubbell indicating a ranking of “very high” in legal ability and ethical standards as determined by her peers in the legal community.
Ms. Johnson is admitted to practice in Illinois as well as the U. S. District for the Northern District of Illinois. She is the immediate past Chair of the Amicus Committee of The Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel concluding this position in June, 2004.
