John M. Kraft

Associate

John Kraft is an associate with Clausen Miller in the Fidelity and Surety Group. He joined the firm in 2006 after completing a clerkship with the Honorable Stuart A. Nudelman of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Law Division, Commercial Calendar. During his clerkship his practice focused on all aspects of commercial litigation, but especially matters involving technology law; accounting, engineering, and attorney malpractice; and corporate litigation. While in law school John earned the CALI award for highest earned grade in Cyberlaw, and was on the Dean’s List.

John has a non-legal background in construction matters and has experience with the government contracting process. Well-traveled, he is proficient in Spanish and familiar with French, Italian, and German.
