Theodore A. Mottola is an associate in the New York office of Clausen Miller P.C. Mr. Mottola focuses his work in the areas of subrogation and first-party property.
Mr. Mottola's work spans from complex claims analysis to subrogation issues and litigation. He is responsible for the analysis of complex insurance policies and provides advice and opinions based on both state and federal law. In addition, he handles cases ranging from large international disputes to small specialized claims.
Mr. Mottola was a summer associate and legal researcher at Clausen Miller P.C. prior to joining the firm as an associate. While in law school, Mr. Mottola worked as a law clerk at a mid-sized New Jersey firm which focused on Municipal Defense and Litigation. In addition, Mr. Mottola worked at the Practicing Law Institute, a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) provider.
Mr. Mottola graduated from the Seton Hall University School of Law in 2010. While in law school, he was a participant in the Eugene Gressman Moot Court Competition. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations and Marketing Management from Syracuse University in 2007, where he was a Chancellor's Scholar and a winner of the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs Scholarship.
