Betsy R. Grover

Betsy R. Grover is a partner in the Chicago office, and concentrates her practice in the litigation of medical malpractice claims and issues involving professional liability.
Betsy has significant litigation experience and focuses her work on the defense of health care professionals, attorneys and school districts. Most of her cases are rooted in claims of malpractice, negligence and discrimination. Betsy also handles cases involving school residency, school suspensions and claims involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. She recently successfully defended a medical malpractice case involving the death of a patient following a routine biopsy.
Prior to joining Clausen Miller, P.C., Betsy worked for a small insurance defense firm in Chicago where she focused on liability issues such as personal injury, premises liability, and dram shop cases. Betsy litigated, as lead counsel, numerous jury trials to verdict in Cook and surrounding counties. She also served as lead counsel for over 100 arbitrations throughout Illinois.
Betsy earned a B.A. in both Sociology and Behavioral Science and Law from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1998. In 2001, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Washington University School of Law.
