Joshua A. Aldort
Associate
Joshua Aldort is an associate with Clausen Miller P.C. in the Business Practice Group. His practice concentrates on all areas of intellectual property law, as well as other commercial disputes and corporate law. Josh’s experience includes domestic and foreign trademark prosecution; trademark litigation; copyright prosecution and litigation; sweepstakes law; intellectual property licensing; trade secrets litigation; and patent litigation.
Mr. Aldort received his Juris Doctor from IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1996. While at Chicago-Kent, he received a Certificate of International and Comparative Law, with emphasis in European Union Law. While studying in England, he worked for a solicitors firm and was a pupil for an English barrister. Mr. Aldort earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and philosophy at Purdue University in 1992. He was awarded the Evans Scholarship, a four-year university scholarship for achievements in academics and extracurricular activities.
Josh is active within the community, and serves on the board of directors for a non-for profit organization, Leap Learning Systems, a Chicago-based charity that works to improve education for underserved communities. Mr. Aldort has served on a number of committees within Clausen Miller P.C., including its hiring and associate liaison committees.
