Matthew S. Sollitto

Mr. Sollitto is an associate at Clausen Miller’s Chicago office. His litigation work at Clausen Miller includes premises liability, products liability, and additional various areas in casualty and insurance litigation.
Prior to working at Clausen Miller, Mr. Sollitto had worked and lived in Las Vegas, Nevada where he practiced in the areas of municipal finance law; construction and construction defect law; and in bankruptcy practice both as a representative for debtors and for creditors. In this practice, Mr. Sollitto represented contractors in conflicts with developers; filed and guided clients through both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies; represented major creditors in mega-bankruptcy cases; and garnered state support for Tax Increment Financing districts. Mr. Sollitto has also represented clients as diverse as banks, railroads, and bankrupt former Fortune 500 corporations. His varied legal experience includes defending clients against actions for fraud; seeking the return of client’s vehicles, equipment, and collateral; and litigating securities actions.
A Chicago native, Mr. Sollitto received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Notre Dame, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University, where he studied Government and English.
