Anthony P. Ulm

Senior Associate

Mr. Ulm is an attorney with Clausen Miller P.C. who concentrates his practice in the areas of Casualty/Liability Defense, Professional Liability, and Fidelity & Surety.  A seasoned litigator, Mr. Ulm has obtained outstanding results for his clients in numerous mediations, arbitrations, trials and appeals in various jurisdictions and venues.

With respect to his Casualty/Liability practice, Mr. Ulm represents defendants and their insurance carriers in high exposure personal injury, product liability, and wrongful death cases.  He also has extensive experience representing employers and their insurance carriers in the defense of workers' compensation claims before the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission as well as the Circuit and Appellate Courts.

Mr. Ulm also defends professionals against claims of malpractice and negligence.  He has represented many different types of professionals, including physicians and other healthcare providers, attorneys, insurance brokers, accountants, and architects and engineers.

With regard to his Fidelity & Surety practice, Mr. Ulm primarily represents sureties in connection with construction litigation and probate proceedings.  He also handles other types of contract surety matters, including claims of obligees under performance bonds.

Mr. Ulm received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois and his Juris Doctorate from the Southern Illinois University School of Law.  While in law school, he served as a Casenote and Comment Editor, and was also on the Board of Editors, for the Southern Illinois University Law Journal.  He is currently a member of the Chicago Bar Association and Illinois State Bar Association.
