Anthony P. Ulm

Anthony P. Ulm is a partner with the Chicago office of Clausen Miller P.C., where he concentrates his practice in areas of Professional Liability, Casualty/Liability Defense, Products Liability, and Construction Litigation. A seasoned litigator, Mr. Ulm has obtained outstanding results for his clients in numerous mediations, arbitrations, trials and appeals in various jurisdictions and venues.

Mr. Ulm has significant experience defending professionals against claims of malpractice and negligence. He has successfully represented many different types of professionals, including physicians and other healthcare providers, attorneys, insurance brokers, accountants, and architects and engineers.

With respect to his Products Liability practice, Mr. Ulm has represented designers, manufacturers and distributors of many diverse products including, but not limited to, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and equipment, auto/truck parts, consumer electronics, and construction equipment and materials.

He also has extensive experience representing employers and their insurance carriers in the defense of workers' compensation claims before the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, as well as the Circuit and Appellate Courts.

In his Construction Litigation practice, Mr. Ulm has represented various players in the construction process, including engineering firms, general contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers. His representation of these entities has focused on the following construction-related claims: breach of contract, professional negligence, and construction site injuries.

Mr. Ulm received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois and his Juris Doctorate from the Southern Illinois University School of Law. During law school, he served as an Editor for the Southern Illinois University Law Journal. He is currently a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and American Bar Association.
