Attorney Maura Morgan with Associate Emily Holmes and Partner Ilene Korey
Later associates immediately assume responsibility, under the supervision of a partner, for cases from start to conclusion. Through on-the-job experience and in-house training, Clausen Miller P.C. helps associates develop their legal skills and mature professionally as rapidly as possible.
Our associate training process emphasizes teamwork and fosters the accelerated development of skills. Working with partners and senior-level associates, new associates receive individual attention. It is our firm's practice to provide each new associate with trial experience as soon as possible.
To facilitate the continuing education of our attorneys, the firm conducts or sponsors in-house training sessions and continuing legal education programs. In-house training focuses on the development of litigation skills and client communication. Through lectures, demonstrations and participation, the associate receives direction in the procedural and substantive aspects of litigation. Clausen Miller P.C. also arranges lectures by local judges and attorneys as well as videotaped seminars on trial practice.
The progress of each associate is reviewed annually, and a partner discusses the results with the associate.
