Rauchwerger Speaks At 2011 CLM Conference

CM Partner, Dean S. Rauchwerger, spoke at the recent March 23-25, 2011 Council on Litigation Management (CLM) Annual Conference in New Orleans: "Herding Cats: Managing Teams of Experts in Complex Litigation." Dean moderated a panel of insurance industry professions in an interactive setting involving a hypothetical high-rise building fire scenario. The program addressed the practical and strategic considerations for effectively managing experts from varied disciplines in complex losses and litigation. The expert journey discussions covered the special roles of litigation experts, selecting and retaining experts, using multiple experts, non-testifying consultants, managing experts after retention and best practices, Daubert challenges, expert ethical issues and other related issues.
