Gozdziak And Zapp Presented To Zurich's Indianapolis Office On Recent First-Party Property Case Law

Clausen Miller partners Tom Gozdziak and Kirk Zapp made a presentation to approximately 20 insurance professionals in Zurich’s Indianapolis office.  The presentation, titled "Case Law Update: Property Claims Law," addressed recent case law on various first-party property issues, including: physical loss, contamination exclusions, valuation, collapse coverage and exclusions, ensuing loss, failure to cooperate, business interruption - period of restoration, business interruption - actual loss sustained, mysterious disappearance of equipment, late notice, flood and wind exclusions (including Hurricane Katrina cases), earth movement exclusions, and anti-concurrent causation exclusion clauses.
