Green Construction and Litigation Issues
Clausen Miller attorneys Christopher Henson, Kyle Kickert and Paul Daugherity will present a seminar for design professionals associated with the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), Chicago Chapter, on March 23, 2010. The seminar will address legal issues concerning green litigation, and will be held at the Union League Club in Chicago, Il. Approximately 100 design professionals and architects are expected to attend the program.
These speakers will address key issues that are expected to arise in green litigation from the perspective of design professionals. Specific topics of discussion will be LEED certification, possible theories of liability, defenses, and recommendations on how to avoid such litigation. In addition to the presentation, Chris has provided CSI with an article on green litigation.
