Jury Verdict in Sprinkler Activation/Property Damage Case

Clausen Miller partner, Michael Basil, won a week-long jury trial in Richmond, Indiana. Clausen Miller represented various physician groups that owned and occupied a surgical center, as well as their property insurers, in connection with a catastrophic failure of the surgical center’s sprinkler system. The judgment obtained from the trial, plus the pre-suit settlement Clausen Miller obtained from two settling defendants, reimbursed a substantial portion of our clients’ losses.
