Another Summary Judgment Win for Perri & Leis

Clausen Miller Shareholders Carl Perri and Matthew Leis of Clausen’s Miller’s Professional Liability Practice Group recently obtained summary judgment for their construction client defendant. The case involved allegations of illegal disposal of construction debris. The illegality of disposal was not disputed, instead we attacked plaintiff’s ability to prove our client had any involvement. Specifically, our arguments regarding lack of soil testing and connections to our client’s construction project were adopted by the court and we extricated our client from potentially expensive exposure.
