Biography

André Pinero is an associate based in Tampa, focusing his practice on assisting insurers with a variety of insurance defense and litigation matters. He is well-versed in representing the insurance industry in complex first party property disputes.

Prior to joining Clausen Miller P.C., André worked as an insurance attorney at a Tampa-based defense firm, where he handled numerous first party property cases in circuit and county courts across the state.

André earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he was named to the Dean’s List across four semesters and was involved with the Florida Journal of International Law. During law school, he gained key experience as a student intern at a Florida law firm, legal intern for the Brevard County Attorney and the United States Attorney – Civil Division and student clinician at the UF Law Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic. André was also a research assistant for the University of Florida Warrington School of Business, where he explored Big Data and its implications for both civil and common law. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with his B.A. in philosophy and political science.
