Biography

Andrew is a Partner in our Florham Park, New Jersey office with over 30 years of litigation experience in both state and federal courts in a variety of areas. He has worked at several large national and regional firms in both New Jersey and New York. Andrew’s areas of concentration include professional liability, defense of nursing home malpractice and abuse cases, wrongful death actions, products liability, construction litigation, real estate litigation, premises liability,  personal injury defense, commercial litigation and general liability matters. He is a member of the New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania bars. In addition, Andrew is an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall University School of Law where he teaches Appellate Advocacy and has taught Legal Research and Writing, and at Fairleigh Dickinson University where he teaches Civil Litigation, Ethics, Legal Research and Writing, and E-filing. He is the author of A Practice Guide to Wrongful Death Actions, published by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.

Andrew received his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Bowdoin College in 1986 and his J.D. degree in 1989 from Boston University School of Law where he graduated in the top 25% of his class, was an Edward F. Hennessey Scholar, on the National Moot Court Team, and on the Appellate Advocacy Board. Upon graduation from law school, he completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Robert P. Figarotta, P.J.S.C and the Honorable Martin Kravarik, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County. Andrew also attended a certification program sponsored by the Trial Advocacy Institute at the University of Virginia School of Law and Seton Hall University School of Law’s Health Law Program.

Andrew and his wife, Celia, reside in Marlboro, New Jersey with their son Brandon. Andrew has a passion for baseball and is a devout New York Yankees fan. When his son Brandon was younger, he coached him at all levels of little league, including travel and All Stars. Andrew also loves to debate political issues and considers himself an expert in international relations with an emphasis on the Middle East.
