Biography

Brian A. Villar is an associate in Clausen Miller’s Chicago Office. His practice focuses on subrogation and tort litigation. Having handled the defense of a wide variety of tort cases prior to joining the firm, he has gained valuable experience in all aspects of litigation from the onset of a claim through discovery and up to trial. He has significant experience evaluating liability exposure as well as estimating the value of a case. As a result, he efficiently investigates each case and determines its strengths, weaknesses, and potential for success at trial.

Brian is a graduate of The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. While in law school, he participated in the school’s Fair Housing Legal Clinic as a 711-licensed student and clerked with a personal injury firm where he began learning how to litigate cases. After graduating, he began working in casualty defense law gaining further litigation experience to expand his practice.

Brian is a native of South Florida where he attended Florida International University and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Outside of the office, Brian spends his free time with his wife exploring Chicago’s culinary scene and participating in intramural sports with his friends.
