Biography

Caitlin E. Bratt is a Partner based in San Antonio, Texas, concentrating her practice on insurance defense.

Caitlin has extensive experience representing insurers and insureds in a wide variety of legal matters, including casualty, professional liability, first-party property defense, and injury litigation. Prior to joining Clausen Miller, Caitlin was an attorney at Texas-based insurance defense firms, where she handled a wide variety of civil legal defense matters. Prior to insurance defense, she practiced at a Plaintiff’s firm, where she handled personal injury litigation claims, including commercial trucking accidents, premises liability and motor vehicle accidents, providing her vast understanding of a case from both perspectives. Representing both plaintiffs and defendants during her legal career has given her the unique ability to counteract opposing arguments, allowing her to handle cases with a more strategic and balanced approach.

Caitlin earned her J.D. from the Michigan State University College of Law. During her time in law school, she was a member of Phi Alpha Delta and the Women’s Law Caucus and worked for the Plea and Sentencing Clinic. She was also an Articles Editor and published author on the Animal and Natural Resource Law Journal. Caitlin graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego with her B.A. in Public Justice and Political Science, where she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Alpha Delta Omega, Pi Sigma Alpha and VEGA and served as Co-President of the Political Science Club.
