Biography
Carl M. Perri is a shareholder with Clausen Miller P.C. in its New York and New Jersey offices, and is also a member of the Board of Directors. His practice is focused in the areas of professional liability, casualty/ liability defense, nursing home and assisted living facility defense, construction litigation, legal malpractice, employment law, real estate litigation, premises liability, products liability, professional negligence, worker’s compensation and personal injury matters.
These areas involve the defense of a variety of professionals in both the State and Federal Courts, including architects, engineers, contractors, developers, nursing homes, attorneys, business owners, accountants, real estate management companies, title companies, title searchers, and directors and officers. Carl is often able to achieve early resolution for his clients and has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution methods such as arbitration and mediation. He has successfully resolved numerous cases through alternative dispute resolution methods.
Carl has extensive experience trying matters in both state and federal courts. Prior to joining Clausen Miller P.C., Carl was a trial attorney in an insurance defense firm where he prepared for, conducted and participated in several jury trials to successful resolutions.
Carl currently litigates cases at the state and federal level in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. He is admitted in the United States District Court for the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the United States District Court of New Jersey, and the United States District Court of Connecticut. He is also admitted to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of New Jersey.
Carl also has experience handling worker’s compensation claims on behalf of various insurers. Carl has experience appearing in worker’s compensation courts and attending hearings throughout New York and New Jersey.
Carl received his undergraduate degree from Saint Bonaventure University and received his law degree from New York University School of Law.
