Biography

Christopher T. Scanlon is a shareholder in the New York office of Clausen Miller. He focuses his practice on issues of professional liability, environmental claims and toxic torts, and casualty defense. Chris has extensive experience litigating legal, accounting and engineering malpractice claims and represents broker dealers, financial advisors and other financial institutions in arbitration and other proceedings.

He also has significant experience defending petroleum product contamination and environmental consulting errors and omissions claims. Chris has successfully represented numerous clients at trial and he advises peers on procedure and trial technique both in and outside the New York metropolitan area.

Chris received his Juris Doctorate cum laude from St. John’s University in 1996. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Fordham University in 1988.

Chris is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the District of New Jersey.
