Biography

Daniel N. Merino is a Clausen Miller associate located in Miami. His practice focuses on first-party property insurance defense. Daniel is experienced in all aspects of litigation, from the onset of a claim through discovery and trial. He has significant experience evaluating liability exposure as well as estimating the value of a case. As a result, he efficiently investigates each case and expeditiously determines its strengths, weaknesses, and potential for success at trial.

Daniel is a graduate of Florida International University College of Law in Miami. While in law school, he clerked for Judge Thomas Logue of Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal and interned at a probate litigation firm. After graduating, he began working in first-party insurance litigation to expand his practice.

Daniel is a native of South Florida where he attended Florida International University and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Outside of the office, Daniel spends his free time with his wife enjoying South Florida’s culinary scene and entertainment.
