Elizabeth Jozefowicz is a partner at Clausen Miller based in Chicago. Elizabeth has extensive experience representing insurers in a wide variety of coverage matters, including construction defects, predatory lending and personal and advertising injury, as well as environmental, silica, mold, asbestos and other mass tort claims. She previously served as in-house corporate counsel for a large commercial insurer, where she prosecuted and defended declaratory judgment actions involving environmental and mass tort insurance coverage matters.
Elizabeth was a partner at Clausen Miller from 2002 to 2015, before rejoining the firm in 2025. Prior to her first tenure at Clausen Miller, she served as in-house counsel for a major insurer and as an associate at several insurance law firms, where she focused her practice on general civil litigation related to insurance coverage matters.
Elizabeth earned her B.A. in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago and graduated with her J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
