Erin combines extensive first-party litigation and coverage experience to ensure that property insurers are represented by a lawyer who understands the intricacies of the first-party legal world.
Erin is a partner with Clausen Miller P.C. in the Property Practice Group. Erin concentrates her practice in the areas of insurance coverage and first-party property, providing legal advice for insurers relating to policy interpretation and the application of policy exclusions. Her experience ranges from providing claims handling advice and coverage opinions to representing insurance carriers in large, complex, multi-million dollar coverage disputes and defending allegations of insurer bad faith. She has handled matters involving first-party claims for property damage, product contamination, mold and business interruption, as well as claims arising out of hurricanes, flooding and total losses resulting from fire. She has litigated cases in multiple jurisdictions across the United States and has experience in alternative dispute forums such as appraisal and arbitration.
Erin joined the firm in 1998 after graduating cum laude from The John Marshall Law School, where she was a published member of the Law Review.
