Gregory litigates bodily injury and property damage claims brought against commercial property owners, tenants, management companies, managing agents, private homeowners, general contractors and various subcontractors including those engaged in demolition and the electrical and plumbing trades. He also defends professionals such as engineers, architects and insurance agents and brokers in a variety of matters.
Gregory represents the firm’s clients in state and federal courts throughout all stages of the litigation and applies a results oriented approach by diligently and proactively identifying and developing an appropriate and comprehensive strategy for each case from inception up to trial. As part of the pre-trial process, he regularly meets with clients to reassess each case as it progresses, takes and defends depositions, prepares discovery and dispositive motions and appears in court for conferences and the oral argument of motions. Furthermore, throughout the duration of each case, he designates and meets with professional experts such as engineers and physicians to insure that any client’s optimal position on liability and damages is put forward in order to eliminate or minimize any risk or exposure.
Previously, he defended multiple utility companies in bodily injury cases relating to construction site, premises liability and automobile accidents. He also had extensive experience defending an independent investment banking and brokerage firm for In re: World Trade Center Disaster Site Litigation venued in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Gregory completed his undergraduate studies at Montgomery College where he earned an Associate of Arts degree and the University of Maryland, College Park where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Prior to attending law school, he served as a Deputy Associate Director in the Office of Presidential Personnel at The White House. He is currently a member of the Brooklyn Bar Association and the Ukrainian American Bar Association.
