Hiren Bakrania is an associate in the firm’s California office. He concentrates his practice in insurance defense with an emphasis on complex tort litigation and general casualty.
Hiren has extensive experience defending major corporations and global insurance companies in matters related to breach of warranty, personal injury, and other civil litigation disputes.
Clients turn to Hiren for his litigation skills, including his ability to deftly handle all aspects of depositions and prepare compelling pleadings and motions. He is skilled at negotiating favorable settlements for clients; however, Hiren is also an effective litigator who regularly achieves desired outcomes for his clients at trial.
Prior to joining Clausen Miller, Hiren practiced at a national law firm in its Los Angeles office, defending all manner of high-profile clients in tort and casualty cases. He also worked at a California-based practice representing car manufacturers, distributors, and dealerships in Song-Beverly Act a.k.a. “lemon law” breach of warranty lawsuits.
Hiren received his J.D., with an emphasis in Trial Advocacy and Litigation, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2018. While earning his law degree, he served as the President of the International Law Society from 2016 – 2018. He was also an Intra-School Appellate Competition finalist in 2017 and an ABA National Competitor in 2018. During law school, Hiren served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge Randa Trapp at the Superior Court of San Diego.
