Biography

Josef is an associate in the firm’s New York Office. Josef concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation involving first-party property insurance, intellectual property, products liability, and insurance coverage matters.

Josef began his career litigating in Orlando, Florida before moving to New York for a fellowship at the Media Law Resource Center. While at the MLRC, he monitored developments in media and First Amendment law and worked with journalists around the country on various First Amendment issues. After he completed his fellowship, Josef joined a national law firm where he represented international manufacturers and distributors in federal and state courts in various products liability and intellectual property matters.

Prior to joining Clausen Miller, Josef was an associate at a media law and First Amendment boutique where he represented national media organizations in media, entertainment, intellectual property, and First Amendment litigation.

Josef earned his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, he was the editor-in-chief of the Florida Journal of International Law.
