Biography

Lesia Medvid is an Associate at Clausen Miller’s New York office. She focuses on a wide range of litigation matters, including personal injury, construction litigation, employment practices, premises liability and general negligence matters.

Lesia graduated with an LL.M. from Fordham University School of Law in 2025. While studying at Fordham, she was a Legal Intern at the World Bank Legal Vice Presidency, where she worked with the Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Central Asia Group (LEGLE), and a Legal Extern at the Human Rights Foundation, where she supported the impact litigation team in matters involving the defense of prisoners of conscience before the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention.

Lesia is a licensed attorney in Ukraine with extensive litigation experience. Prior to her LL.M. studies, she represented clients in complex commercial and civil disputes. In addition to her private practice experience, Lesia gained legislative experience working with the Ukrainian Parliament.
