Biography

Mara Goltsman is a partner in the New York office of Clausen Miller P.C. Mara defends clients involved in litigation ranging from professional malpractice, including medical, dental and other health care provider malpractice to various general liability claims which include premises liability, personal injury and labor law cases. She also handles worker’s compensation claims for various carriers.

Mara handles all aspects of litigation from case inception through mediation and trial. She graduated from Binghamton University with a B.S. in Management with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in German. She earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and is licensed to practice in New York State and Federal Courts.

Mara handles subrogation claims in all 50 states involving industrial, commercial and residential losses including high-profile commercial property losses and losses with high-net-worth residential homes due to fires, explosions, electrical failures, structural collapses, construction collapse, machinery and equipment failures, environmental and energy failures, product defect, transportation and logistics accidents, gas and water leaks, and natural catastrophes.

Mara is also fluent in Russian and is currently struggling through Anna Karenina.
