Bill Gros is a senior associate based in Chicago, advising insurers on complex insurance defense matters. As an experienced trial attorney, Bill has represented clients in litigation matters involving various types of claims, including product liability, construction litigation, medical malpractice and labor and employment claims.
Prior to joining Clausen Miller P.C., Bill worked as a litigation associate for numerous Chicago-based law firms for over a decade. He is well-versed in employment law, having defended employers against class actions claiming violations of the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act. Bill has also managed privacy law and complex commercial litigation cases, including defending against claims of breach of contract, bad faith and breach of fiduciary duty.
Bill earned his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School, where he was an executive board member and articles editor for The John Marshall Review of Intellectual Property Law. During his time in law school, Bill was a summer legal intern for a Chinese IP firm in Beijing. He graduated from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with his B.S. in Chemical Engineering, where he also minored in Biochemical Engineering.
