Biography

Yesy Sanchez is a partner in Clausen Miller’s New York office. Yesy focuses his practice on the defense of personal injury, premises liability, construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and other tort cases.

As a litigator, Yesy has argued cases in Staten Island, Bronx, Queens, Kings, Nassau, Rockland, New York County, and orange County. As a trial attorney, Yesy has tried cases in Staten Island, Queens and New York County, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Yesy has also represented clients in matters brought before the New York State Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Commission on Human Rights, and the Taxi and Limousine Commission. Yesy has represented the interests of insureds, including commercial vehicle operators, contractors, vendors, architects, engineers, premises owners, products manufacturers, and a wide-array of other industries.

Yesy is a cum laude graduate of Vermont Law School, where he served as an editor for the Vermont Law Journal. Yesy received a bachelor’s in political science and government Degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Outside of his law practice Yesy volunteers at local public schools in the Bronx to speak to students about the importance of higher education.
