Clausen Miller’s Strategic Texas Expansion Triples Its Size
Clausen Miller is pleased to announce a major expansion of the firm’s presence in Texas as five attorneys and eight additional staff join the firm from Doyen Sebesta & Poelma, a Houston boutique firm recognized for its complex litigation focus and longstanding work in insurance defense and appeals. The expansion follows the firm’s third anniversary of operating in Texas and marks the strategic growth of its footprint – deepening its bench strength across the state and enhancing the delivery of comprehensive legal services throughout the Southwest.
As part of this growth, the firm proudly welcomes Shareholder Scot Doyen, partners Terence McCarthy and Angela Hahn, and associates Tamara Crawford and Paul‑Michael Dusek, who bring a robust mix of trial proficiency, complex insurance law and commercial litigation capabilities.
“This expansion reflects our long-term investment in Texas and strengthens our ability to serve clients facing high-stakes litigation across the region,” said Clausen Miller President and CEO Dennis Fitzpatrick. “As we celebrate three years in Texas, we’re excited to welcome a team that shares our values, client-first philosophy and commitment to excellence with attorneys now located in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio.”
