James Weck Named Wisconsin Office Managing Partner
Clausen Miller is proud to announce James Weck as the new Managing Partner of the Firm’s Wisconsin office. Jim officially took the reins on March 1, 2023.
“Jim is a born leader and has positioned himself as an integral and highly respected member of the Firm in Wisconsin and beyond,” said Clausen Miller President & CEO Dennis Fitzpatrick. “With his strong ties to the state and extensive experience in handling all levels of litigation, Jim is the natural choice to take over as Managing Partner for the Wisconsin office.”
Jim boasts deep roots in Wisconsin. He received his J.D. from Marquette University in Milwaukee and worked at the Office of Corporation Counsel in Milwaukee County during law school. While there, Jim provided general legal advice and litigation defense services to county departments, offices, boards, commissions and elected officials. Every summer during law school, Jim played college baseball throughout the state. Jim also regularly spends time in Door County.
“I am excited to return to the state where I earned my law degree,” Jim said. “The Wisconsin market is full of first-class clients, and I look forward to building upon existing client relationships there and creating new ones.”
James Weck focuses his practice on construction litigation, medical malpractice, casualty defense and professional liability in state and federal court. He works with clients to achieve their goals of minimizing risk and exposure at all levels. He is licensed to practice in Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana.
